The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 78
Critical Education Theory Series, Part 14
We spend a lot of time talking about the Woke Marxification of North America’s public schools, but what about private schools? As many who send their kids there can tell you, they’re just as Woke, if not Woker. Critical Education Theorists (Critical Pedagogs) have not ignored private schools, just like they haven’t ignored elite private universities that these schools primarily service, but how do they really think about them? In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, James Lindsay reads through a recent academic paper regarding bringing Freirean and Leninist Critical Pedagogy into NAIS-certified private schools, and what is written by Susannah Livingston, recent graduate of GCAS (Global Centre for Advanced Studies and teacher at an expensive private school in New York City, an explicitly neo-Marxist certification mill) is shocking. Join him to learn what elite parents are paying $40,000, sometimes $50,000 a year to subject their children to.

James , you are doing incredible work trying to bring to our attention this horrible ideology that has parasiticly seeped into all levels of American institutions. In spite of your efforts , and the efforts of others , a huge part of the American population is lock stepping with this heading for a steep cliff drop.
Even as headlines scream of inflation and gas prices , the simple acts of opening up energy production to get back to energy independence, and stop printing up money for green new deal type of spending , would make some kind of difference , but , they charge ahead like it doesn’t mean a thing.
This mentality , in power now after decades of academic brain wash of this ideology in its various forms , is bringing down the USA as we know it.
People need to step up big time and challenge , scrutinize , mock and confront this ideology full force , or watch the USA self destruct from the inside .

If Marxism is being inculcated in the children of the elite, it’s because the elite want that to happen. Who are the elite? Those who control most of the money – bankers, financiers, large corporations, large foundations. The system they want to establish is basically fascist — government under the control of monied interests — but the tactics they find most effective in order to accomplish that goal are Marxist. It costs them nothing to pay lip service to promoting “the revolution” while they consolidate ever more power for themselves. On the contrary, it creates the illusion of giving away power while doing the very opposite. What they are doing is just a more extreme and comprehensive version of what the Marxist philosopher Herbert Marcuse called “repressive desublimation”. Repressive desublimation turns revolution into another marketable item, thereby emptying it of its political content. There is no real change, only the appearance of change. Another applicable term would be “co-opting”. Sex, drugs and rock and roll — along with ending the draft — were the means by which a rebellious 1960s generation was pacified. Now it’s diversity, equity and inclusion. It is true that privileged whites are going to lose their place at the table. But there will still be an elite. In that respect, there will be no change whatsoever. Privileged whites would rather virtue signal than maintain their power. Indeed, they’ll pay handsomely for the privilege. Like those who hope to win the lottery, they hope that as individuals they will get a seat at the table even though the odds are stacked against them. This is a civilizational suicide unprecedented in history, and I have no explanation for it. Or perhaps the explanation is that all great empires and civilizations eventually decline. European civilization began its conquest of the world around 1500 A.D. and reached the acme of its influence and power at the end of the nineteenth century. It has been downhill ever since then, with the United States being the last driver of Western influence. The true revolutionary class today is poor and working class white people. But they are powerless. Their kindred are in Russia and in parts of eastern Europe, who understand the relationship between communism and usury-based capitalism — that they are two sides of the same coin. Russia had its elite vanguard and nomenklatura. China has its billionaires. The real joke is on those who believe in equity.
excellent comment
if you want to know where the Children of the Elite get jobs after they graduate, check out this list — every one of these hundreds of ‘left/globalist’ organizations is staffed by Children of the Elite — and most are funded by taxpayers’ money and “charity” donations! We’re paying for our own extermination! And most Western people are loving this mass societal suicide! St Vitus Dance of the Decadent Dead.

also check out this rare 1957 (english subtitled) French version of Arthur Miller’s 1953 play ‘The Crucible’ — brilliant depiction of the entire woke phenomenon of today — shockingly parallel situation — deliberately false accusations of being a “witch” (deplorable, trucker, far right, white supremacist, domestic terrorist, unvaxxed, conservative, Capitol insurrectionist, X-phobian, etc. etc.) are the very stuff of politics for personal, power, financial and status gain. As it was in 1650 so it is in 2022. The species never changes — it just gets WORSE! Homo Homini Lupus! Man is a Wolf to Man! “This is the End, beautiful friend, the End…” (the Doors 1967)
