The Difference Between Left and Right

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 132

There are several differences between the Left and the Right on ideological, philosophical, and political grounds, but in plain practical terms, there’s another obvious difference. The Left has radicalized in a way conservatives have not, and in proportions that conservatives have not. Why is that? The answer is that the Left has succumbed to the blinding temptation for power far more than the rest of us have, and it has driven them mad. The thing is, while radicalism and political violence are not (at present) “both sides” problems, temptation is a both-sides problem. The friend-enemy distinction as a criterion of politics tempts us too, and we must continue to choose to reject it, or we will lose this most important distinction between Left and Right. Join host James Lindsay for this episode of New Discourses Bullets wherein he discusses this important matter.

Excellent. I have spent years trying to understand what makes the Left tick, understand how they think. I call myself a libertarian/classical liberal and I once thought I shared values with both Left and Right. I agree and disagree with certain policies on both sides. But since Trump came along, the Left has become something unrecognizable. This contribution from you, James, has given me an expanded way to see the Left and therefore make sense of what they do, why they do it. Your last sentence is vital. Do not allow ourselves to become what they have become.

I don’t agree with analyzing life or politics in this manner.
“Left” and “Right” are extremely arbitrary labels. Anyone can assume one of these labels – or reject both – for their own personal or political reasons that don’t necessarily have that much to do with what they actually believe. And we know that there is a small but important group of people who are so crazy that they have no rational beliefs at all, but feel they must live a life of total deception in order to survive. It is these people who have cultivated the left-right antagonism, along with many others.
The “Left” gained power because of its ability to procure more votes along with indoctrination practices in universities. Those practices insinuated Critical Theory into Education, Business, Law and entertainment. It is working on Medicine, Religion and government. Critical Theory is essentially a criminal philosophy; it is a way to justify criminal temptations using political (instead of emotional or psychological) ideas. It is a way of convincing people that the nice old lady walking down the street is your oppressor, and thus you should steal her purse.
The criminal has no option but to steal purses. The rest of us can pursue life from a more honest and helpful perspective, and should be expected to. The more rationally moral among us – identified now with “the Right” – still expect that of the people around them. Those currently identified with “the Left” are today more likely to expect and condone criminal behaviors as somehow inevitable.

Critital Theory when vindictive is a style of mass lying through propaganda. In that sense you may was well blame the Moon or the Ocean since you treat ‘critical theory’ as if it was conscious A.I. Its nothing of the type, and it tends to not exist in period when elitist government’s are happy to cultivate what they have to rule. Once they are no longer happy with this they turn toward fascism & all the means there are to turn people against each other. Thus it would not matter what label you use for such high level dirty tricks as the real problem is that ruling powers have lost all respect for themselves & will wage world war again and what we are seeing is separate components of world war being assembled.. Even beneath the basic reasons lie yet other layers of reasoning . Young top elite people cannot see how they are going to make their own personal billions. The worlds ultra rich pigs in some cases have trillions hidden. And every now and again theres just no way that top people can get traction into big money as thats all hogged up by older persons. I would think a 16 year old elitist has an allowance worth a million dollars at the top of society & much more by say 21. It isn’t them that they are not already rich, the problem is they’ll fell worthless is they don’t do something to earn Billions. With no venture realistically available where they can infiltrate a company board a cream of its profits due to the old guys they want WAR. That will makes everyone’s whose wealth is not guarded wealth spill out into availability. In a bank is not safe as in world war that the first wealth to go missing. Furthermore World Wars have serious investors who gain serious interest back on their investment. Just look at who was invested in the last world war and they are all household names.

You don’t see the ‘Right’ outing those countless numbers of of investors in death. That should be a basic denomination of demarcation between not tolerating collaborating forces in wars and shunning them because they were war pigs.

But it hasn’t happened ever / so much for right and left! its only a political long hand reserved for certain social processes. They are not being ideological behind the scenes. And btw great britain and 5 other european nations signed a treaty with those who had been fascist nazi’s in 1947. That treaty agreed to go into a common market as if nothing had happened. Each country had been attacked just a few years earlier.
