To further make the state wither away, “school choice” is being pushed, including by President Trump. This definitely takes power away from small r republican elected leadership on school boards, but it also puts most of the power into the hands of corporations. Even the so-called “school choice” “scholarships” in FL for homeschoolers are funded as a tax diversion by corporations.
