New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 85
How should we describe the system currently used in China? It’s the CCP, Chinese Communist Party, so it’s obviously a Communist nation, but look at the crazy-rich Asians and the huge corporations there. It’s not Uncle Joe’s Communism, that’s for sure. So, what is it? Whether we want to call it Chinese Communism, Communism 3.0, or Neoliberal Communism, it’s a Communist state that’s operating with a controlled, Potemkin neoliberal “market” economy. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay spells it out. Join him for a little storytelling with a point!

Very good observations. I learned from your on the ground experiences. I would only suggest, as more of an observer of the USSR/Russia is that when the USSR dissolved, the elites of Tye Marxist world adapted, by adopting not so much neoliberal economic model, but instead a variant of Fascist Corporatism. Instead of owning the means of production they own the owners. The ChiComs were ahead of the curve on this.
Here in America in 2011 they also finally threw the proletariat under the bus and adopted intersectional class struggle. The world is divided between the oppressed and the oppressor. And since that means including the theocratic Islamist collectivists, the Jews are now their objects of the instrument of emotional control – hate, as they still are of the few right collectivist National Socialists.
”How should we describe the system currently used in China? ”
Certainly not by substituting an understanding of fascism, with a new atheism based artificial illiteracy like gnosticism.
China went away from socialism in 1976 when Deng Xiaoping followed Chairman Mao. The big news then was his announcement that China needed capitalism in order to basically survive.
What do you call state controlled capitalism? What do you call public-private partnerships? What do you call an authoritarian central government “bound together “ with powerful corporate entities? The binding together of both elements are the ligatures known as “fasces” in Latin and the system is none other than FASCISM.
@Retired,
Fascism is an expression of Statism, as are Communism, Socialism, and Theocracy. All four expressions of Statism are combined and operating in the USA.
Democrats advocate Communism and Socialism.
Republicans advocate Fascism and Theocracy.
A pox on both of their Statist houses!
Democrats (and similar Left political parties across the West) also advocate Theocracy. Democrats (and the entire Western Left) advocate the Theocracy of Islam. How could a Leftist party not love Islam — the word means “submission”.
Prediction: within ten years, most Wokes will convert to Islam, as will the Democrat party (and all “progressives”). The trans-veil will be the next big thing.
“[In 2007, Barack Hussein] Obama recalled the opening lines of the [Islamic] call to prayer [and] described [it] as ‘one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.'”
“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
