I cannot thank you enough for this post. I am a loud critic of SEL and also a school board director. While *I* know why SEL is evil, I get tripped up trying to explain it to others in a succinct way. Now I see the obviousness of why that’s been staring me in the face. I need to do MORE homework and learn everything about it until I can answer exactly what it is and why I am against it. That sounds so obvious that I am ashamed to admit it – but saying thank-you was more important. So thank-you Mr. Lindsay! Not only for this personal awakening but for all of the amazing information that you tirelessly research and share.
Dr. Lindsay, do you have a reading list you could provide? Or if you have one can you tell us how to access it? You gave the names of two books in this episode but you talk quickly and I couldn’t understand what they were. Thank you!
