New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 36
In Woke Marxism, “all” means “some.” Not just any some, but a very specific some: the some that the Woke holds out as suffering from systemic oppression. You see, Woke Marxism maintains that society is contoured entirely by systemic power, and that creates an “unlevel playing field” that they have to “level” through redistribution schemes like equity and inclusion. When they say they want to devise an education system that benefits “all students,” then, for example, what they’re telling you is that because of systemic power dynamics, some kids don’t benefit under the current system, and that needs to be remedied. Thus, the system will favor those students and disfavor others who are deemed relatively privileged. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay explains why you need to be on the lookout for specialized Woke uses of the word “all” and why it ultimately harms everyone.

I find this one weak.
Of course the Woke seem to expect that “equal results” is what should happen in our institutions. This devalues the efforts of anyone who devotes more energy or focus to a particular activity.
The big question is what this idea is based on.
I believe it is based on the “blank slate” concept of human development. This concept states that one only starts with one’s genetics, and everything else is determined by environmental factors. Many non-Woke believe this, too. This is the problem that the Woke give to many who wish to be anti-Woke.
My strategy (though I have not had much opportunity to try it) is to confuse the woke by invalidating their basic assumptions. After all, it IS an incorrect assumption. But most of you don’t believe that, do you?
The Woke clearly aren’t a fan of the slogan “All Lives Matter”.
Thanks , James
Listening to you , i have aquired great insight how to call these neo marxists out.
I always hated their rhetoric , i said it sounds like ” a soviet union crumpled up tired propaganda page with Castros snot on it ”
That is pretty damn good , but , finding critical theory , post modern , neo marxist origens broken down , really arms me to deal with their horrible ideoligy arguments
