The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 106

Did you know the focus in education is about to change again? It is. While we’ve rightly been focused on fighting CRT, Queer Theory, SEL, DEI, and all manner of issues in the schools to protect our kids, a big shift has been being prepared and is likely to be about to launch. Schools in the coming year or two are very likely to lurch into direct instruction into activism to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030. The documentation from entities like the WEF and UNESCO already makes this clear, but in this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay goes through a document from the NEA Foundation, the charitable arm of the largest national teachers union, to show that they not only have these plans but have adopted well-developed curriculum guides to start distributing to teachers and school administrators, right down to detailed lessons on topics like hunger and starvation in kindergarten. These plans will, of course, be UN and World Economic Forum compliant, as they tell us themselves. Join James in this episode to get a preview of the next big fight in education.

These sorts of issues also go through the superintendents, too. Thought you might want to know about Learning 2025, too, since it dovetails with the NEA report. While the NEA can send this out, teachers are supposed to follow the curricular guidance of the Curriculum and Instruction Directors, the superintendent, and, presumably, the school board, if they are on top of what their administrators are leading.

How do we get classical education into public schools so kids, our future, gain an education that will help them be free and self-governing adults in our constitutional republic?

James, a general comment here: We’re locked in battle against the Las Cruces, NM Public Schools. They brought in the woke nonsense in 2019 with Cultural Proficiency and Implicit Bias in the Non-Discrimination Policy. Cultural Proficiency is Cultural Malpractice here in southern NM, where all cultures have lived in relative harmony. Everyone here is a mix of hispanic, white, black, indigenous. Also, when LCPS added Implicit Bias to their policy it was a “tell” that they thought no one knew it had been discredited by Metaanalysis in 2017 and 2019. One of our group is a hispanic civil rights investigator 25 year career State of Kansas, and they have zero respect for anything she says. She is assertive.
We uncovered anti-bias training as purely anti-white in their Cultural Math, where the pedagogy is “it’s not a question of whether all whites are biased, it’s a question of how do we move on with that knowledge”, this is paraphrased. I’ll keep you posted.

The ultimate sustainability is teaching the factors for a student becoming resilient — the best way to become resilient is learning good critical thinking skills, have good reading skills and not that prepackaged Social Emotional thought reform. Those kids are taught to be forever victims and forever weak minded. Total fail and total non sustainable. In times of turbulent change be it AI or economic only those who can fast become adoptable will survive and thrive. This is how humans have not become extinct — they constantly adopt to a changing environment. I fear for the modern student.

talking the real resiliency meaning ability to think and adopt not be brainwashed in their fake resilience

Hungry kids need some Brawndo. It has electrolytes. Not so good for the plants, though.

I try to share your work with people in the educational system , they dont want to watch or read it , they just dont care and it seems half of america is marching along with this drek .
Im very happy with my views based on my life experiance with nei marxism and your work has helped me know the origins .
But , i dont feel optimistic now , but , armed with my knowkedge about where this is going i can at least be ready to react in the right direction to diminish the damage they are in the process of doing now into the future.

P.S. James, since you mentioned that you get complaints that you put out too much content. Please know that I look forward to every one. You are the best scholar on these topics and I can never tell you how grateful I am.

The quickest and easiest way to stop all of this insanity is to repeal the 16th Amendment. Only about half of the Federal revenue is from income tax and over half of what they are doing is unconstitutional. These parasites will only torment our children if they are payed very well from out tax dollars.

James – people like the Josh Cepts ? guy from Australia invariably cannot ‘see’ and do not understand the significance of these global plans & perhaps you are underestimating the level of organisation the top scholars for elite work to. Even with high people if their I.Q. & remit doesn’t support ‘knowing’ something they won’t know it. These people only need to carry out orders absolutely that is all James. Those kinds of people beat to the tempo of a different secret society drum & when they are determined to force something its not often because they understand it.

There is some special ‘allure’ that gets used on these robots, but it isn’t easy to know what drives them. I think Robin DiAngelo gives away some important clues though. Look at this silly story about being nowhere in life & virtually trailer trash till 30. I think she suggests somewhere being a domestic violence victim somehow ( dysfunctional childhood story ? ) i’m not sure. Then this strange miracle of going from zero @ 30 to ivy league professor. The point is where was she hidden away in those years & what did she learn to so there ? I don’t even buy she designed WF, let alone her hard luck story. Good front woman of the thing she condition learned having never heard of it previously yes.

Are you blowing out of your cognitive water any of the red herrings that were laid down for you to waste energy on yet ? – Bailey etc ? Do try to rationalise who knows what in these architectures, it will help you spot the smoke & mirror content. The UN would link to Lucis just for that singular purpose good friend. But look James you’ve got to see that series of books yourself. Hardly anyone understands them unless they studied esoteric literature for YEARS. I have doubts about much of the stuff you say is significant with Hegel. And tbh James its too late now as you published a book, but i worry about the accuracy concerning Freire, and they’ll give you the runaround feeding you nonsense if you are not carful – they’ll know what you cannot resist.

I only heard the opening 15 of this so far, but can see its a very neat and accurate build up. You’ve seen why WF is leveraged against SDG’s. In that case maybe you’ll get some clearer insight into how they unbind some binaries but fuse other things together in unnaturally pairs, or we could call these ‘fake binaries’ so the sake of a description. Another way to view this is contradictions that were not previously related, but become married by such bonding. so marriage of contradictions as it were could sum up WF and the couplings they’ll force to unite in SDG’s You see this kind of phenomenological distinction id fairly important . if there is going to be another outbreak of unnatural couplings. You were far too slow to see this before, while just slandering words & terms seen in marxist use – which is a ludicrously unhelpful to yourselves thing to do.

Good going James. I worry about you over working & not getting enough peace without this stuff going on in there though.

All well and good that you are fighting the good fight here, but aren’t you forgetting something? The UN is located on American soil. It is hardly surprising that the spiritual, ideological, and cultural fabric of the US would be the UN’s first target. I won’t say that all forms of global fascist leftism spring directly from the UN, but surely most of them do, or are ultimately folded into what the UN is pushing. Obviously there is no hope for anything better than a stalemate unless the UN itself is uprooted and removed from these shores. Do you think there is any realistic chance of that ever happening, or is the goal not victory but stalemate?
