The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 79
Thinking Sex Series, Part 1 of 3
People have very rapidly realized, whether in Groomer Schools, marketing, or so many other corners of society that we’ve been suckered into supporting Queer Theory under the banner of a gay and lesbian civil rights movement. We’ve also figured out very quickly that Queer Theory is a branch of Identity Marxism: Queer Marxism, which takes “normalcy” as its special form of bourgeois property to abolish through (Queer) class struggle. Where, though, did Queer Theory come from? It is relatively widely accepted that the first real Queer Theory paper is Gayle Rubin’s 1984 essay “Thinking Sex,” which calls for a new radical politics of sexuality. To help people understand what Queer Theory is and always has been about, James Lindsay proudly hosts a three-part New Discourses Podcast series reading through “Thinking Sex” in full and offering his commentary on it. In this first part, we learn that Queer Theory from its very beginnings is profoundly interested in both child pornography and pedophilia. It’s almost shocking to hear. Join James to understand Queer Theory from its very origins.

Please do a little, and I mean really brief, research into Kinsey. He was a total pervert and most of his research was with male prison inmates, for starters.
What disturbs me most about the Woke is that they have found things that are “real” in the population that they can tap into to justify their “solutions” which are basically criminal.
Though the impulse to be other than what one’s body seems to limit one to may be perfectly real, these impulses to not justify the destruction of existing social structures. That is the goal of the criminal, not the goal of any sane reformer.
The impulse to be other than a body stems from the basic truth that we, as personalities, are not bodies and are immortal and have inhabited many bodies. Any true reform movement would recognize this basic fact, which must be modified by the requirements of living in a body-based civilization.
A failure to recognize the truth of one’s own identity leads to criminality. An ability to recognize the truth of one’s own identity leads to sanity.
Reading Marcuse was burdensome enough (Gramsci less so), so genuine thanks to you for an intelligent, critical reading of sources you have spared me from perusing. I have come to the conclusion that Rousseau is more seminal for the constant metastasis of cancerous equality by the newest left than Marx.
Why does Queer Theory threaten you?
Who cares?
Michel Foucault was one of the founders of Queer Theory (“History of Sexuality” 1977). He supported no age limits to adults having sex with children. The link between Queer Theory and support for legalizing paedophilia/hebephilia is why this analysis is germane and why some people “care” about the topic. The iterative history of academic, progressive/woke, political and Queer/Gender Theory support for grooming children for sex with adults is important to people who object (for any reason) to adults having sex with children. Others who do not object to this would say, “who cares?” But if you don’t care, why are YOU so threatened by those who do? Support for sex between adults and children is never supportable in any “context”. Period. End of story. Why does this truth threaten you so much that you must lash out at anyone who investigate it? Look at your own politics in a mirror.
“According to Johanna Oksala, Foucault’s influence on queer theory has been so great than he can be considered one of the FOUNDERS OF QUEER THEORY. The fundamental idea behind queer theory is that there is no natural fundament that lies behind identities such as gay, lesbian, heterosexual, etc. Instead these identities are considered cultural constructions that have been constructed through normative discourses and relations of power. Feminists have with the help of Foucault’s ideas studied different ways that women form their bodies: through plastic surgery, diet, eating disorders, etc. Foucault’s historization of sex has also affected feminist theorists such as Judith Butler, who used Foucault’s theories about the relation between subject, power and sex to question gendered subjects. Butler follows Foucault by saying that there is no “true” gender behind gender identity that constitutes its biological and objective fundament.”
“Views on underage sex and pedophilia
Foucault argued that children could give sexual consent.[185] In 1977, along with Jean-Paul Sartre, Jacques Derrida, and other intellectuals, Foucault signed a petition to the French parliament calling for the decriminalization of all “consensual” sexual relations between adults and minors below the age of fifteen, the age of consent in France.[186][187] ”

“Publication of open letters
An open letter signed by 69 people, including Jean-Paul Sartre, MICHEL FOUCAULT, Gilles Deleuze, Roland Barthes, Philippe Sollers, and Louis Aragon[9] was published in Le Monde in 1977, on the eve of the trial of three Frenchmen (Bernard Dejager, Jean-Claude Gallien, and Jean Burckardt) all accused of having sex with 13- and 14-year-old girls and boys. Two of them had then been in temporary custody since 1973 and the letter referred to this fact as scandalous.[10] The letter claimed there was a disproportion between the qualification of their acts as a crime and the nature of the reproached acts, and also a contradiction since adolescents in France were fully responsible for their acts from the age of 13. The text also opined that if 13-year-old girls in France had the right to receive the pill, then they also should be able to consent,[10] arguing for the right of “14- and 13-year-olds” “to have relations with whomever they choose.”[9]
A similar letter was published in the paper Libération in 1979, supporting Gérard R., an accused child sex criminal awaiting his trial for eighteen months, signed by 63 persons, stating that Gérard R. lived with young girls aged 6 to 12 and that they were happy with the situation. The letter was later reproduced in the paper L’Express, in the issue of March 7, 2001.[11] ”

Pedophilia normalization, almost everyone cares.
Because it serves to justify factually criminal behaviors. I am talking about lying about others, closing down free speech, rioting in the streets.
Anyone parent should care about how their children are being manipulated and how deep the rabbit hole does. Not caring is how we got here.
Because it never ends. It just gets more and more absurd until society fractures into ever smaller single interest groups and all social cohesion is lost. Which is the end goal of course. The “dismantling” of Western Culture.
Here’s an even more chillingly prophetic pamphlet from 1971!

I think you may appreciate this book from 1958.
