New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 2

We hear about equity all the time but are rarely told that it’s shorthand for Social Equity, or even “Critical Social Equity.” We also hear all the time about Social Justice, which is sometimes referred to as Critical Social Justice. What are these concepts, though? In Woke Marxism, they are the rebranding of Socialism (Social Equity) and Communism (Social Justice), meant to be achieved through Critical Theory. That’s it. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, James Lindsay explains Karl Marx’s conception of the evolution of Socialism into Communism and then shows how the terms “equity” and “Social Justice” as widely used today reproduce this precise Theory in a new domain (identity politics) under new branding.

I love the last paragraph of your recent “Democracy” entry, particularly the part about “deplorable”.

For sure ” equity ” used by them is a form of social manipulation . Where we should strive for equal opportunity at the starting line . Its very troubling how many corporations and polititions at the highest leval use the word equity now.

Where odds are stacked up against common sence now , people have to stand up to it at all levals.

Where it seems high tech and corporate levals are out of reach to stop , its heartening to see the developements with Elon Musk and twitter. I dont trust either one , but it shakes things up , at least.

What the new Left seems to want is that sociology studies start to show equal proportions of pleasure and pain for all possible different groups, whether those be ethnic, racial, sexual or other. The current movement seems to favor certain groups, such as black people and trans people.

In the hopes of finally accomplishing this, they are embracing a set of criminal theories that are only likely to result in a more criminal outcome than we are already experiencing.

Those of us who consider ourselves more honest and sensible are now challenged to prove ourselves in this regard by providing a more workable approach to handle this problem.

What I see, then, is that “we” have our own biases and blind spots that very well might prevent us from stepping into this bad situation and resolving it successfully. It’s time for us to do much more than simply push back with our assertions that Leftists are insane fools. That tactic has been tried many times before, and they always come back in some new form to plague us again. We are having the same problem with actual criminals. My big concern is that this might be our last chance on this planet o figure this out. Corporate is prepared to take over the entire planet, and Corporate is quite capable of carrying though with this, if we can’t come up with a stronger and more durable solution.
