A common tactic Woke activists exploit is called renormalization. That’s the process that occurs when an entire group changes its views, values, or behaviors to accommodate a small number of the most intolerant people. If you hope to resist Woke activism, especially in institutional and corporate settings, but also in your personal life, it is of great importance to understand the dynamic of renormalization so that you can identify it when it is being demanded and then respond to it. Luckily, in many cases, there are good responses, though they take some thinking about to see them. In this episode of James Lindsay OnlySubs, my subscribers-only podcast, I walk through the idea of renormalization and some things you can do to resist it when you encounter it.
