As one spends more and more time in the Critical Social Justice (Woke) literature, it becomes increasingly clear that this stuff is not meant to make a person mentally and emotionally well-adjusted. In fact, at this point, I think it’s the opposite, and I think I can back it up. Drawing from various examples in the neo-Marxist and Critical Pedagogy literature, in this episode of James Lindsay OnlySubs, my subscribers-only podcast, I make the case that Wokeness is applied psychopathology. That is, the point of a Critical Theory is to induce and groom psychopathologies that the activists can then manipulate to achieve their ends. Join me for a rather daring exploration of this idea.

Hello James
I implore you to make this post freely available to everyone, it eloquently expresses the critical factor of Critical consciousness. It’s psychopathological, an inculcated delusional disorder that leaves the afflicted functionally psychotic within the scope of their inculcated delusions of paranoia. The perception of ethereal forces, the ghosts of past injustice that impede the progress and success of POC in the present, examples being whiteness, systemic Racism inherent in the physical constructions of the present society borders on the bizarre and is only a short step away from a full blown psychosis
Please James, allow your subscribers to share this with nonsubscribers as this article explains what many know intuitively but just can’t put a finger on it to describe in words.
Keep up the great work,
Thanks,
James
Seeing as Psychopathology is the *study* of Psychopathy, I urge that folks here refer to the spreading of CRT as (being the) *Psychopathic*, not as (practicing) the Psychopathological.
Hello James Lindsay, Thanks so much for all your work articulating what’s going on in our institutions. Here’s a link you might find amusing to help pronouncing “conscientizacao” the Portuguese word that gave you trouble in this podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njoJ0VRbYzc&ab_channel=ZacharyGough
