Normally on this podcast, I talk about Woke ideology and related topics, and maybe this is related, or maybe it’s not. Either way, it something I’m generally uncomfortable with and a little different: It’s me giving advice. One thing I’ve learned in life is that if you want to have real confidence and if you want to be able to weather hardships (which are inevitable), you have to have the character that comes with doing difficult things. In short, the basic lesson is that by doing difficult things, other things in life become easier by comparison. This is the true root of confidence, and it is a necessary ingredient to living a fulfilling life and avoiding falling into traps of resentment and ressentiment, if you ask me. So, in this episode of my subscribers-only podcast, James Lindsay OnlySubs, I offer you this advice: do something difficult, and do it to succeed. Challenge yourself, and don’t give up. Endure. Join me to hear more about it.
