James Lindsay joins Agah Bahari on the Neohuman Podcast to discuss Critical Social Justice, Critical Theory, and God and the unknowable. In this wide-ranging conversation, the two cover a great deal of ground on these topics, even taking a rather rare dive near the end into Lindsay’s thoughts as a mathematician and rather heterodox thinker about mathematical philosophy: was mathematics invented or discovered? Perhaps surprisingly, this relates back in a fundamental way to the critical theory subjects at hand. Join them for an engaging and unique discussion.

puzzled by saying ‘discovered’ = ’empirical’.. is that to say there’s 2 kinds of experiment, one scientific kind to falsify a theory, and one to play about and see what will happen, free of theory – as nature does with selection.
