The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Ep. 160
If you had to narrow it down to a single reason our school classrooms and hallways have become so much more dangerous, rough, irreverent, and violent, any honest assessment would identify the widespread misapplication of restorative justice programs. It’s long past time we face up to this fact, which was first exposed in the unbelievably important book Why Meadow Died by Andrew Pollack, whose child died in the Parkland school shooting in Florida, and AEI fellow Max Eden. The problem didn’t start in Parkland, however; it started in Oakland, and it spread as a result of pressures coming from the Office of Civil Rights in Obama’s Department of Education well over a decade ago. As with so much in Woke education, the problem is infinitely worse and more fraudulent than one has any right to expect. In this episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay reads some of Fania Davis’s (Angela Davis’s sister) ridiculous book The Little Book of Race and Restorative Justice along with a report cited by Davis in support of a program that simply doesn’t work. It’s time for America’s parents to stand up to restorative justice and demand it be removed from our schools.

Essentially, the goal of Restorative Justice is to transform human beings into Communism’s New Man and New Woman: transcended (woke), ego-less beings that derive their identity from the collective, and sacrifice themselves to the collective.
” that derive their identity from the collective ” ( and so on )
Yes. And a global push toward that goal is one which has the highest chance of success ever as A.I. on screen is the nu commie Messiah. This form of globalist pressure was always inevitable once a technological stage in human history like the WWW had been reached.
Its a wall of mirrors in many ways. It looks to me as something is even going back through old film footage and editing in woke artifacts to make it seem more powerful in the past than it as. In reality ‘WOKE’ only had the power to get someone shot or placed in an asylum in the distant past. I seem to be noticing significant statements of woke that are weaved into old footage.
We are all glued to a screen after all.
I began going to racially integrated schools beginning in 1961. Somehow I don’t recall seeing that my black fellow students treasured education as liberatory. Rather, they would berate any academically oriented black students as “Oreos” or “acting white.”. What a load of horseshit she’s pedaling.
She’s playing the Race-Marxist card to blacks who have chosen to commit themselves to the slave mentality and utter those epithets at those who have evolved beyond it because the latter are well aware that no one has ever held them in bondage, and they are not beholden to any tribe, black or otherwise.
If I recall, the shooter in the Parkland school shooting was no longer a student. But when he was, the police were not involved due to “restorative justice” and he was not prosecuted. This left him with a clean criminal record allowing him to legally obtain the gun he used.
