Welcome back to another, long-anticipated episode of my book club! I’m reading a book now that has me chilled to the bone in so many ways. It’s a long confessional called Account Rendered: A Dossier on My Former Self by former Nazi Melita Maschmann. In this episode of James Lindsay OnlySubs, my subscribers-only podcast, I read a short snippet from this book where the Nazi ideology comes face-to-face with Jewish prayer in one of the ghettos the Nazis set up for the Jews.
