Surely you’ve noticed that Woke doesn’t work. Of course it doesn’t. It’s not just bad ideas put into operation by bad people and obvious grifters, though, that causes the problem. Woke Marxism isn’t even interested in making things work. In fact, it’s worse than that, even. Woke Marxism is, by definition, hostile to making things work. It is, as Herbert Marcuse put it in An Essay on Liberation in 1969, a protest against “the totality of a well-functioning and prosperous society,” even against its very Platonic Form. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay shows you exactly where this mentality was adopted by the radical Left that became the Woke Left to explain why Woke Marxism cannot possibly make anything work. This guy started in the Frankfurt School before coming to the US. They were a rich group of men. Where did they get the money to start and run this operation? Marcuse worked for the American Government I read in a bio of him. He was hired by American Universities. Something is fishy about this!!! Top down organized propaganda operation from the elites. This was from run from the upper echelon of society not some fly by night street radicals. So is DEI today.

Yes and yes. But why and how?
Why? Because the rich upper echelons’ Utopian fantasy (itself, a self-serving PR con) of raising the entire poor third world to first world prosperity failed because there was not enough global wealth for: a) maximum exploitation profits for the rich 1% upper echelons (and their lackey castes); b) continued first world prosperity for a huge demographic of Western middle classes; and c) new and equivalent prosperity for the sheer numbers of poor third world masses. For the upper echelon’s new world order “budget” to balance, one of these variables (a, b or c) had to be eliminated.
The upper echelons chose “b” and flipped their original Utopian (PR con) strategy: instead of raising the level of the poor third world to be equivalent to the existing prosperous first world middle classes, the upper echelons would decrease the prosperity level of the first world middle classes to the impoverished level of the original poor third world masses. Thereby freeing up enough cash flow required to transform the structure of the entire Western world without resorting to costly wars or hard totalitarianism.
How? Upper echelons hollowed out and impoverished the middle classes of the first world via massive wealth transfer mechanisms such as the manufactured COVID psy-ops that saw the largest wealth transfer in human history from Western middle classes to global upper echelons who then used some of this confiscated wealth as State welfare to transform the third world poor, who were invited to invade the West, into new “prosperous” global citizens thus “solving” third world poverty. Upper echelons basically replaced one mass group with another, one going up (new prosperity) while the other went down (new poverty).
Upper echelons subdued the first world middle classes without violent force by using new digitized post-truth forms of population control and curated societal chaos that solidified upper echelon’s subtle and finessed total State control over the middle classes who they could now impoverish at will by criminalizing all dissent and resistance. A new ideology was required for the demonization of the ”new bourgeois enemy of the new world diversity”: Woke. Woke branded white Western first world middle classes as “racist colonizers” (deplorables, populists, bitter clingers, settlers, etc.) hoarding the world’s wealth that they stole from the non-white third world and must be “morally” and literally forced to “give back” as “reparations” to “the diverse”.
Worked like a charm. Quite ingenious. One might, if one believed in such things, call it “diabolical”.
