How can we fight a tyrannical movement trying to take over our society or mislead people into traps? One key thing to do is to understand how people relate to such movements and organize our messaging and activity in a way that targets them for where they are. Slight clarification after Googling: “The Chinese general, military strategist, writer and philosopher Sun Tzu wrote that when an army surrounds its enemies it is prudent to “leave an opening”. This strategy is often referred to as building a “Golden Bridge” as it allows one’s enemy to avoid certain defeat through escape.”
At n24.12 or so, I think you said that you need to offer “gold and bridges out”. Is that what you said?
I think it was “golden bridges out”, ie an easy, pain-free, least loss-of-face route (my interpretation)
