The Power of Opting Out

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 46

Maybe about a fifth of American adults decided not to get the shot (you know, THE shot). Maybe it was a quarter. Either way, that’s not very many, it seems, but it was enough to stop the rollout of shot-based passports that could control our behavior and movement, in addition to the digital ID and tracking system that would come with it. That’s the power of opting out of the totalitarian system they’re trying to foist upon us, mostly by gaining our consent through appeals to “safety” and “convenience.” This can be replicated, for example in schools and “competency-based education” and SEL surveying, and it not only slows down their rollouts but can disrupt them entirely, and this is a huge ingredient in how we beat an enemy that seems to have already captured everything. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay discusses the strategic power of opting out and the role it can play in stopping the madness of the Woke Marxist cult.

Aldous Huxley said, “[T]he percentage of people who can be hypnotized [almost 100% of the time]… is about 20%, and… a corresponding [20%] at the other end of the scale are… almost impossible to hypnotize. But in between lies a large mass of people [60%] who can… be hypnotized… if you work hard enough…”

20% of people can be hypnotized 100% of the time. These are society’s fanatics. 20% of people are immune to hypnotism 100% of the time. These people are society’s dissidents. The other 60% of people are on a fluxtuating continuum of receptivity to hypnotism and all forms of mind control. This majority are the problem.

During “Covid”, the 20% who are brainwashed fanatics took the shots, masks, etc. fanatically — see: the “Fauci ouchie pouchie” online “vaccine” maniacs’ dance macabre. The 20% who are freethinking dissidents refused the shots (or conceded to one shot only if forced) — see: the Freedom Convoy arrests, bank account confiscations, police brutality, media intimidation, etc. It was the other 60% of people who were willingly hypnotized into 100% compliance — and worse. This 60% majority were given political and social permission to openly attack the 20% who refused to comply. Family members, friends, co-workers, neighbours turned into militant, arrogant, hysterical STASI-informants and interrogators harassing with impunity the heretics in their midst.

“Covid” was the first contemporary instance of mass social credit surveillance, policing and denouncing of dissident citizens not by governments or armies but by their own family members, friends, co-workers and neighbours. Each dissident’s localized personal micro world became a literal Panopticon of constant scrutiny and intimidation by the people all around them – at home, at work, in the supermarket, on the street – everywhere. The entire world became communist China overnight because the majority of people took fiendish delight in their permitted new role as witchfinders and witchburners of their own people.

Globalist totalitarians’ mass social experiment worked. No need for guns and gulags when 80% of the population willingly and vengefully can’t wait to act as the prison guards of their own family, friends and neighbours’ bodies, lives and thoughts.

There is no going back after this.

Thanks this is really good, I suppose I have been doing it intuitively most of my life by not consenting to stuff that insults my soul or my intelligence, but more so in the last 9 years. I think this was worth listening to as it is said with great cohesion and adds up to what we are witnessing…

if you are promoting opting out then why are you against breaking up the united states. Would it not be better to rid ourselves of the federal bureaucracy? We have a very compromised election and voting apparatus right now. Would it not be easier to ensure proper elections if we made them on a more local basis.

We do have issues on state levels, but being ONE helps protects us from foreign countries and invasions. we need limited federal government.

The feds are only involved in federal elections. Election institutions are all local and are still extremely corrupt at the local level. Getting rid of the feds won’t help.

    Wonderful presentation as always James

I especially liked the news about the Unity Campaign failure!

I just cannot understand how these people now control our schools and have free unbridled access to our children! It is easy to say ‘Home school” but how can my daughter teach a full curriculum to her 4 kids up to A level standard. It would be impossible!

How much better it would be, if sensible, people got together and created anti Woke schools where children were taught to be decent human beings and respect their society.

Its actually easier than you think, because Homeschool moms teach their children how to learn, research and study for themselves. Schools do not educate they indoctrinate. I taught my child 3 hours a day 4 days a week, she is in Algebra 1 as a 6 grader and can run circles around most 9th graders when it comes to knowledge and how things work. Being at home allows you to be bored- and what does boredom do? It allows you to be creative, that is how planes were created, electricity, phones, etc, people were bored and wanted better ways of things. Children need to have opportunities to discover on their own and find their interest, hobbies, etc and it gives them lots of opportunity to READ, which school doesn’t promote that anymore.

It’s not impossible. In fact at this point ANY homeschooling is better than any school standard, because parents will be able to address any learning issue in real time whereas a teacher has a classroom of MINIMUM 15 children to teach every subject, every day. If you think teaching 4 of various ages is hard, try being a teacher of 15 I’m with n a year of each other. I have done it and it’s far easier to make sure my own children get a good homeschool education than it was being the teacher in a classroom.

Several years ago I decided, after much anxiety around every popular objection against nst homeschooling, to homeschool my own children. According to my experiences in the years since the moment I chose to take over their education, I can tell you confidently that EVERY REASON NOT TO HOMESCHOOL IS A LIE from the ones who don’t want your children to be smart and well-equipped for independent life.

Homeschooling is intuitive, relationship-based, driven by your own knowledge of what’s necessary for life, fueled by your child’s curiosity, easy to supplement by curating the other adults you allow your children to spend time with (I have a homemaker, a hunter, a seamstress, a carpenter, and a mechanic in my corner, helping me round out my children’s competencies), and the academic essentials are accomplished easily within just a FEW hours each day – none of this “eight mind-numbing hours behind a desk” nonsense. Which leaves plenty of time in the week for the diversification of company I mentioned above, with all the skilled adults who help me make sure my own children know what they need to know… Which leaves me plenty of time to be at work while they’re supervised by those good adults.

In Ayn Rand’s novel “Atlas Shrugged”, the producers went on strike. In his essay “Discourse on Voluntary Servitude”, Etienne de la Boetie identified withdrawing one’s consent to be tyrannized as the way to bring down tyrants. Withdraw your consent to comply. That is a power that every human being possesses; however, to exercise that power fully and effectively, one must be courageous enough to renounce one’s fear of pain, loss, and death. Those fears are what sociopaths and psychopaths rely on to keep you under their control, to keep you enslaved to them. Refute their rationally, logically, and morally indefensible agenda to their faces. Refuse to pay any fine they impose. Resist to the death their attempts at arresting you; and if they murder you in the name of “law/mandate” enforcement, afterwards they will have your dead body–but not your obedience. They will “think” they have won, for you are dead and they are alive. No, YOU will have won, for you will have died as you had lived: on YOUR terms, not theirs.
