New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 12
Two of the most infamous figures of the 20th century are two of its most notorious Marxist dictators: Vladimir Lenin and Mao Zedong. Each had his own methods. Speaking broadly, Lenin’s Bolshevik approach could be considered top-down, imposed by government and its seized industries, and Mao’s “Marxism-Leninism with Chinese Characteristics” might be considered bottom-up, a youth rebellion, and inside-out, a cultural revolution ushered in by his radicalized youth. The most infamous Neo-Communist figure of the early 21st century will be Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, who has figured out how to combine these approaches into a top-down, bottom-up, inside-out push. His primary tools: ESG and SEL. Join James Lindsay in this episode of New Discourses Bullets, where he succinctly explains how Schwab’s “stakeholder capitalism” Is a Leninist-Maoist project to mold a new economy and society in his image using a two-pronged vanguard model and a cultural revolution.

I am listening to all 100 bullet points for the second time. This one makes me realize that I am in the same position as a pre-revolution Soviet, and pre-revolution Chinaman. The death toll from Soviet was 20 million, from PRC, 65 million. Now the Five Eyes (the west) is in danger of exponentially even more. Thank you James, for your clear explanations. Let prevent the carnage, everyone!

Nice . As an American living in south america , ive got my eye on chile , columbia , bolivia ,argentina and brazil is poised to elect grandpa lula , who ripped off the country big time . Their direction will be a lab study of democratic socialism success or failute , in live motion . Venezuela is the example of abject failure
This has been a long time in coming. Not only from WEF but the United Nations and other NGOs. It’s global totalitarianism because it’s not just happening in the U.S. but throughout the world. They give nominal lip service to democratic mechanisms like voting in fair and free elections, but we know that’s a lie too after the 2020 presidential election. Whatever you think about that and the outcome, it’s obvious it had been manipulated by money (Zuckerberg’s guilt money for get out the vote projects in Philly) and Covid with states instituting universal mail-in ballots which are so easily compromised. And in the aftermath we had Time magazine boasting how it all had been done in the name of democracy.
I disagree with James that the solution is simply to resist or dig in our heels. It’s already too pervasive and people feel overwhelmed. There has to be another method or remedy that’s more effective and can be more precisely targeted.
A new museum has opened that I think you may appreciate!

Very informative , James . You are able to seek out the actual liturature these people write , putting their intentions right out there for those to see , if they want to , and you breaak it down so we can understand it .
Its very ominous to see multi millions just happy to walk like lemmings right over the cliff , following these horrible agendas.
It used to be that political changes were pushed overtly.
The American revolutionaries posted their intentions in their Declaration of Independence.
Slavery was abolished by law.
Hitler openly supported the suppression of Jews and other minorities.
Now we are seeing takeovers (or attempted takeovers) that are more covert. Big Pharma declares their products are “safe and effective” and gets government agencies to go along with that message, even though it is a lie. The WEF has their “stakeholders” idea (I know this as a design concept used in software development). It has a feel good sound. Does it really lead to a Marxist (anti-free-market) takeover? I see the modern Marxist regimes that have survived as Technocracies. In this sense they are “rational” regimes, but not pro-freedom.
The trend seems to be in the direction of a new kind of slavery. We can call this by many names, but I agree with James that it will not benefit most people on this planet.
Brilliant Comment… THX
I love you James, but I sincerely hope that you won’t attempt to imitate Klaus Schwab’s accent(*) in this podcast.
(*) An imitation which curiously enough always sounds like a Russian accent, not like a German accent.
