New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 127
One of the more difficult experiences we all face today is how hard it is to tell when something blows up on the internet whether it’s “real” or a “psyop” (part of an active measure with a political warfare purpose). Well, the answer is typically “yes” between these two choices. That is, it’s frequently both. Using a process that would best be called “reflexive becoming,” a psyop can be turned into a flashpoint issue in the culture war, a movement, or even an insurrection. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay breaks down the idea so that we’re better equipped for life in our agitprop battlefield. Join him to prepare yourself.

A more proper (but esoteric) interpretation of what Hegel was noticing was that “nothing” is the creative force behind “Being.” You could say that the only reason “nothing” creates things is so it can play a game. Very few modern philosophers have risen to this level of understanding. Nothing is the only “thing” that is truly conscious.
Even more esoterically, from Gnosticism, Being and Nothingness (One and Zero) are the same. Zero divided by itself is infinity, so it breaks binary logical categories.
Leibniz’s Braunschweig Medallion, “One has created All from Nothing”.
As in the Flower Garland school of Buddhism and Fazang’s Essay on the Golden Lion. There is also a relationship between the phases of Maoist political warfare, and Daoist alchemy. (The Jade Casket between the Heavens and Earth by Meilin Chinn).
