New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 117
The MAGA Civil War is upon us, as many people have noticed. But what is it? Where did it come from? What are the sides, and who is right? In a recent long essay and New Discourses Podcast episode, James Lindsay outlined the origins and nature of the MAGA Civil War in unprecedented detail, but it is unfortunately very long. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, he summarizes the biggest takeaways from that longer presentation in a quickly digestible form. Join him to get the skinny on this crucial issue.

Dr. Lindsay,
As someone who is also worried about a White Revolution, I must say thank you for exposing the hatred, ignorance, and Antisemitism rising today. We cannot Make America Great unless and until we Make Israel Great.
If I may make one suggestion, I would encourage you to talk more about the Holocaust. We must never forget, and someone with your platform could have a powerful impact on ensuring the Holocaust remains front and center in the new discourse. We need more voices like yours.
You would be a valuable contributor to the Daily Wire. I will be talking to my contacts about your work. Stay tuned.
Shalom,
Avi
Why were Israelis dancing on 9/11?
Many people comment on youtube and elsewhere say things like “name names”. Perhaps there’s a disingenuous element to that, but at the minimum if key movements and thinkers are identified and discussed in individual videos, that may be beneficial (as well as take the wind out of some sails). OR perhaps just a single video that just goes through the individual movements and thinkers and states clearly (” key thinker says and does the following ___ thus they are utilizing a woke paradigm). This kind of thing has been done for the woke left over a number of years so I get how doing the same for the woke right might be unreasonable. I know that of course names have been named, but they are often lost in the larger pieces.
Some groups / movements that come to mind are:
Christian Nationalists
Post-Liberal Catholics / Integralists
National Conservatives (NatCons)
Ethno-Nationalists / America Firsters
Bronze Age Reactionaries
Irony-Driven Troll Right
Postmodern Traditionalists
Techno-Authoritarian Right / Neoreactionaries
