The Marxification of Education Workshop, Session 1 of 4
Education has been stolen from us and from our children. Yes, stolen. It was deliberately transformed from within into something that is barely education at all anymore. Instead, it’s a systematic program of thought reform (brainwashing) into neo-Marxist belief and activism. How has this been accomplished? The formal name for the transformation is “the critical turn in education,” which “turned” education from traditional models of pedagogy to “Critical Pedagogy,” the application and teaching of Critical Theory to and through the education system. Its purpose: to overcome what Marxists refer to as “the problem of reproduction,” by which stable societies reproduce themselves from one generation to the next, especially through institutions involving children like religion, family, media, and especially education. Here, New Discourses Founder James Lindsay summarizes this “turn” in this first of four presentations on the Marxification of Education delivered in late July 2022 in Arlington, Virginia, on location in the now-famous Loudoun County, ground zero for the fight for America’s schools.
As a result of the research that produced this lecture series, Lindsay has written a detailed and accessible book on the issue titled The Marxification of Education, which is available now.
Session 2: Paulo Freire’s “Critical” Method of Education
Session 3: “Groomer Schools”
Session 4: Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

Great article. It quotes from another great (Oct 8/22) online article, “How Turbo Wokism Broke America”, that demonstrates how post-2010 Tech, social media and related oligarchic tech platforms, were the catalyst for woke’s instantaneous hegemonic infiltration of all of society .
There was no Hegemonic Woke (HW) in the past (pre-2010) because there weren’t the Totalitarian Tech Tools (TTT or T3) powerful enough to infect mass populations with viral gain-of-function ideological/behavioural control pathogens. The only way to stop woke is to reject/mock/smash/counter Totalitarian Tech Tools of Tyranny by paradigmatizing the denunciation/stigmatization/status punishment of the grunts of that tyranny, the Ruling Class lackey (corporate, academic, political, media, bureaucratic, etc.) Gulag Guards who are parasitizing/terrorizing the common people for their own status/financial reward. It’s not the Rulers (there will always be human pigs); it’s their apparatchiks who live amongst us as family, friends, neighbours and co-workers who perpetuate the T3 of Hegemonic Woke. Break the lackeys’ status mechanism and woke collapses.
“[T]he Woke is a vanguard movement that seized control of a new technology and used it as a force multiplier to discipline and terrorize the larger institutional landscape.”

You mention phenomenology again remarking on its broader dialectic facets. Perhaps in that sense your workshop sought the philosophical concept of immediacy, concerning the unwelt of critical pedagogy’s array of modal components. There is not much certainty who or what designed the mode however, since all that Freire did had prexisted many times, there is no doubt that there is self similarity is closer to the truth. Though from a heuristic standpoint this could be irrelevant, as Freire might be required only to be totemic, if so valid since such a close template requires only a good focusing source = Freire and that makes sense. Though in your own words an crucial importance in understanding causation. Freire as a chief phenomenon does not pass basic falsifiability hypothesis on that level given the greeks were all of critical & it happened again.
Reasonable prediction & probably is he natural maximum every time one seeks to derive something useful from arts of persuasion. Most two colours I.E tendency to represent true or false in big human debate. The madness of the crowd can never be empirical, thus probabilities linked to a phenomenology of that madness cannot obtain it. There can be states where falsifiability isn’t producing concrete data either, but nevertheless the probabilities stack up & up & up & in the end the exponent feels comfortable to proceed further, forever obtaining nothing yet gaining for confidence with the paraconsistencies. Even your workshop can only reasonably do that in response to your words unless you seek blind faith. Reasonably though ? – surely one needs to be balanced and presume such persons require to be advised therefore you seek pockets of mass social phenomenon during these lectures. This isn’t only dialectical, its phenomenological and arguably metacognitive i. unless those persons know what you know then worldview need to be altered – your workshops do not deprogram after all.
Beyond that you’ve no real idea why the attendee’s come. They might swap they are concerned for young persons & some are. Others are looking for ways to develop and boot up a influencer position. Win win yes – but very different cognitive boundary conditioning if correct. It would mean you have an audience who are far from identically using similar areas of the mind with which to understand you & this places a variance on the affect your phrases shall have.
Few ever want to discuss phenomenology for its potential to exert sociological force unless they are in (say) discussion one of the humanities experimental research methods. Nearby papers on metacognition occasionally brush upon the individual interacting with the environment, and thus a central experience concerning those around them, in the context of positive alterations to cognitive process. In that sense fear of academic pressure to work strictly to empirical standards is yet another anti educational red herring. For consider – the spin doctors and social engineers who demonstrably provided a special place in hell did awfully well entirely without empirical backing – it was all trustworthy probability = Do A & Y wide social effect will take place phenomenologically. Further to this i often observe lip service to empirical needs in synopsis followed by zero and marxist suppositions. I feel it suffices it to ay that the potentials of counter phenomenology are very carefully guarded and are written into cultural marxist doctrine strictly at university level. ‘Phenomenon’ by implication never will supply empirical data, but marxism isn’t being understood well enough unless it is recognised as a mass narrative, that can only take affect ( firstly ) so long as cognitive phenomenon is invoked. Secondly – that vindictive synthetic phenomenon(s) require compositional skills, transporting skills (means of propaganda) and contagious abilities. No surprises there no, but the variants of these pathogens are so intelligently adapted, that it is obvious that lab conditions most definitely are the source. Does Freire still run one ?
Not meant to sound sarcastic in slightest – this is a close match for Freire without a doubt. How do the adaptations react so ably? Thus the thing is that while the symbols pointing to the historical works of various protagonists is very compelling. Arguably the scholars responsible read same fro much older tomes & have their own take on how to emulate memetic ( just as it were ) natural selection with the designs.
It may be of interest that daniel dennett & roger penrose seem interested in a revival of memetics. Quite daring if so where richbrd dawkins seems to have only rebirthed the idea inadvertently & later felt ashamed that study interest grew only to rapidly disband & discredit memetics. How times have changed, seems like all that was required was a good sociological war and suddenly it makes sense again well sort of. It did seem to be part of ancient greek dialectics, & perhaps a far large component than was ever realised.
For me ? – i sense a holy grail being sought where social contagion & Ai spread deritives met a neutral balancing act. In other words the form of cultural marxism in global parlance could well be for the sake of having marxism marshall mass emotional regulation to the degree that the masses are manipulated into composing their own police state in a form that creates the intellect that shall be used for Ai law enforcement.
This s almost what you are saying throughout ND’s. Of course they’ve set stringent conditions I.D politics blah blah. Other than this it seems to me that while the object if a police state, its not essentially a marxist one. Except – unless law enforcement is allowed to be entirely irrational with all the sociological aspects covert by ND, the Ai could not operate. It hasn’t got the technology to ‘reason’ its neural ability is more lies. But the nwo are preparing police states = the design we are experiencing.
Ai that is way & i mean wayyyyyyy unable to be trusted with the tasks it shall be assigned is what is really being hidden. Does that only default to marxism in any case – yep. But you see someone trained in phenomenology would never rest until the(probabalistic) line of logic seems in order.
I’m hooked! I really would be interested on James’s thoughts regarding Barack Obama. Hope and change, also transform America.
It really pays off to listen and absorb as much as i can of your talks so its muscle memory . We have to step up to this now . And , its better be winning the battle of ideas . If not , the next steps will be violence no one should wamt .
Wonderful! The first thing I look for every day is a new podcast or lecture from New Discourses.
Regarding the Trouble with Ed Schools, I would highly recommend the outspoken Margarita Mooney for alternative ideas. As a Cuban immigrant, she has been quite concerned with the depressed attitude of many Ivy League students for some time and has been proposing means of re-enchanting education.
