James Lindsay joins Max Klinger on the E2 Review Podcast to discuss Critical Social Justice. Their discussion ranges from the Grievance Studies Affair through the religious and dogmatic nature of Critical Social Justice as an ideology and finally to the ways that Critical Social Justice as a movement does damage to important issues and left-leaning politics. They conclude on this point, discussing how it must be resisted. Join them in their deep-diving conversation that tries to make more sense of the Theory and activism of the Critical Social Justice movement.

Meanwhile what about the gun-toting thugs that closed down the Michigan Statehouse.
How many left-wing militias and armed-to-the-teeth “patriot” groups are there?
Groups and individuals just waiting for the right moment to dramatize their murderously reasonable intentions – to “cleanse” the USA body-politic of its “cancerous” elements
I would also suggest that a majority of police, state troopers, and members of the military are more than sympathetic to right wing causes.

When Barack Obama was elected there was an immediate huge increase in right-wing militia and patriot groups.

Regarding the strong anti-Israel stance among “woke” British students:
At least in Germany and Austria, there is a very different situation. The Israeli-Palestinian led to a big schism among radical leftist student activist, with some being vehemently pro-Palestinian, some being vehemently pro-Israel and some taking a more moderate stance on the issue. At least in the Austrian Students’ Union, the pro-Israel clubs are significantly more powerful than the only vehemently pro-Palestinian club, a Marxist-Leninist club that is probably even the least “woke” of the left-wing fractions, mostly focusing on class politics. However, at least in Vienna, there is a considerably “woke” pro-Palestinian group (the Trotskyist Linkswende) often seen around the University of Vienna and even running for election for the Students’ Union (however, with a very low result), especially promoting anti-racist and pro-Muslim identity politics along the lines of “A ban on headscarves is racism”.

If someone is interested, I can elaborate on the situation in Austrian universities.
